new designers

thankyou so much for the fantastic responses from everyone i met at new designers last week it meant alot to hear you all liked it! i am working on a more professional website so bear with me for a while longer and keep checking this blog for new work. in the meantime i am open to comissions so give me an email or if you picked up my card feel free to give me a ring.

i didnt feel the rapunzel theme came though in the previous pictures so heres me wearing the piece climbing the walls! i have used the mirrors all the way through the series and i like how it ties them together, now which ones to go on the walls of the show!?! my housemate tom took the photos (thanks tom)

another shoot i have done for my hood piece (kind of a homage to angela carter) the model is the lovely Kat. i have some great photos from today (yay) and i just need to choose which ones im going to enlarge

photo shoot

and im off out for lunch but heres one last treat for you! i made the heads out of tapestry plastic! kudos to mum for the china!


i know this photo is dark but doesnt the jewellery look awsome! the other model is my friend mistress tina and i loveee it (again!) the theme for my jewellery is fairytales hence th ewooded setting!


just a few photos from a shoot i did yesterday, hooray!!!! i love the colour and softness of this photo, im going to try and make all my photos look more tonally like this but im so so happy with the way it turned out, the model is my sister Jess and she worked like a pro!

so this is somehting i have been working on outside uni, a donkey head for a mid summer nights dream, hes carved foam with a velour covering and im very pleased with him, obviously a work in progress but so far im proud as its my first time trying out this kind of technique

so here is a little preview of my 3rd year ceramic work so far slip cast dead animals, or as i like to call them fairytale fallout enjoy! i particullarly love my little bling mouse, some of the pieces have been raku fired and others left to give a good contrast, any feedback would be appreciated!
